Some Important Notes on Email from WCI
Add us to your contact list
Be sure to add our email address to your contacts list, label emails we send “Not Spam”, move them from your spam box to your inbox, and NEVER mark a WCI email as spam. Each of these steps not only helps you get the emails you're looking for, but also helps other WCI readers to actually receive them in their inbox too.
Never hit the “nuclear unsubscribe” button
At the bottom of each email there is an unsubscribe link, labeled “I don't want ANY emails from WCI ever again”. If you use this link, it will prevent us from ever sending you emails, including emails related to online courses you may have purchased or any WCI Conferences. We also cannot add you back to the list manually, so if you want to come back, you will need to resubscribe. I'd recommend you just never click on that legally mandated link. There are more civilized methods to dictate which emails you get and which you do not. For example, at the bottom of every email there are links that allow you to subscribe and unsubscribe to each type of email we send. If you have already read the Financial Boot Camp series, or just don't want it but still want the monthly emails, there is a link at the bottom of each of those emails that will stop the sequence.
Note that if you have signed up for comments on the blog, those come from a separate place and you will need to unsubscribe from those separately. Again, there is a link at the bottom of each email that allows you to do that, in accordance with the CAN SPAM Act regulations.
