From scholarships and book giveaways for medical students to awards for outstanding financial educators and bulk book order options, these initiatives are our way of saying thank you and ensuring that valuable financial knowledge is accessible to all.
The WCI Champions Program puts free financial education into the hands of physicians and other healthcare professionals at the earliest and most impactful moments of their training, through distributing free copies of The White Coat Investor’s Guide for Students and The White Coat Investor’s Guide for Residents.
We consider this one of the most important things we do. The earlier physicians and other professionals get the right information and take control of their finances, the greater the impact on their financial lives. Financially stable professionals experience less burnout, enjoy longer and more meaningful careers, and are better positioned to give their full attention to their patients.
The application window for the Champions program for the 2026/2027 academic year is September 15 – February 15.
Must be first-year students in a Medical/DO, Dental, PA, NP, CRNA/AA, Podiatry, or Pharmacy School in the US.

Learn MoreThe White Coat Investor Financial Educator Award recognizes individuals who are making a significant impact by promoting financial literacy among their colleagues, trainees, and students. This award celebrates those who are dedicated to empowering others with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve financial independence. Winners receive a $1,000 cash prize as a token of our appreciation for their efforts to spread financial education and improve the financial well-being of their communities.

The White Coat Investor Medical School Scholarship is a way for the entire WCI community to “pay it forward.” The scholarship has no endowment fund so the money is raised anew every year. The purpose of the scholarship is to directly reduce the indebtedness of a few students and to promote financial literacy in professional schools. Tens of thousands of dollars in scholarship money and prizes are available to medical, dental, and other professional degree students who earn one of the 10 scholarships we award each year.
