Every now and then, those of us at The White Coat Investor enjoy writing about our travel adventures and what lessons (financial or otherwise) we can learn from them. Hopefully, readers can draw inspiration from all of that work, whether the topic is serious or silly, monumental or mindless.
Since 2023, we’ve collected mini-essays about the travels of white coat investors (whether it’s Jim, the WCI columnists, or anybody who reads this site) and publish a few of them at once in an occasional series we call WCI Travel Club. It could be inspiring, or it could simply be a nice break in the day to be transported to other parts of the world. Either way, it’s (hopefully) entertaining.
Some readers might think these posts are either ostentatious or braggadocious. But that’s not the main point of establishing the WCI Travel Club. The real reason we established these travel columns is because the outside world is always there to teach us lessons.
In a few more words, you can begin reading about these adventures. Before that, though, we invite all readers to share their own experiences with the community. If you have undertaken a trip that taught you lessons about finance, mental wellness, or some other aspect of medicine or life, we’d love to hear from you so that we can include your story in subsequent Travel Club columns. Please email us at [email protected] so we can discuss it.
