From scholarships and book giveaways for medical students to awards for outstanding financial educators and bulk book order options, these initiatives are our way of saying thank you and ensuring that valuable financial knowledge is accessible to all.
Our Champions program aims to put The White Coat Investor’s Guide for Students book into the hands of every first-year medical and dental student in the US. This program is one of the most important things we do as a company, because medical school is such an impactful time for students to become financially literate.
Even though the book is primarily focused on medical and dental students, we expanded the program in October 2023 to include US-based PA, NP, Pharmacy, Dental, and Medical/DO Schools.
The White Coat Investor Financial Educator Award recognizes individuals who are making a significant impact by promoting financial literacy among their colleagues, trainees, and students. This award celebrates those who are dedicated to empowering others with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve financial independence. Winners receive a $1,000 cash prize as a token of our appreciation for their efforts to spread financial education and improve the financial well-being of their communities.

The White Coat Investor Medical School Scholarship is a way for the entire WCI community to “pay it forward.” The scholarship has no endowment fund so the money is raised anew every year. The purpose of the scholarship is to directly reduce the indebtedness of a few students and to promote financial literacy in professional schools. Tens of thousands of dollars in scholarship money and prizes are available to medical, dental, and other professional degree students who earn one of the 10 scholarships we award each year.
