Goodman Capital sponsors both private real estate credit funds and syndicated investment opportunities, giving investors multiple ways to participate in senior-secured real estate lending. We focus on low loan-to-value (<60%) first-lien mortgages on Class A commercial and residential properties primarily across the greater prime New York metro area, partnering with experienced, well-capitalized borrowers.
Our flagship closed-end fund, Liquid Credit Strategy Fund I (LCSF I), originated a ~$269 million portfolio of senior-secured loans at a very conservative 40–45% loan-to-value (LTV), delivering a consistent 9% net dividend yield since inception (in June 2022) with zero loan defaults. Structured as a tax-efficient private mortgage REIT, LCSF I provided investors with monthly passive income, IRA suitability (no UBIT/UDFI), and additional ways to enhance returns via the 20% qualified business income (QBI) tax deduction, discounted ROTH conversion and dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP).
