Continuing Financial Education 2020
Online Course
Continuing Financial Education 2020: The Latest in Physician Wellness and Financial Literacy is the online course created partially from WCICON20. However, in addition to the 28 hours of material presented at the conference, it includes an additional 6 hours of material NOT presented at the conference itself, for a total of 34 hours of life-changing material. Most importantly, it is our first online course that offers CME….10 hours for both physicians and dentists. Not only does that help you meet your state, professional organization, and hospital CME requirements, but it allows you to pay for the course with CME funds or if self-employed, with pre-tax dollars, reducing the cost by 30-50%!
At $649 for 34 hours of material, it is by far the least expensive physician financial online course on a per hour basis.

Continuing Financial Education WCICON 2018 — Park City
Online Course
The first Physician Wellness and Financial Literacy Conference (WCICON18) was held in Park City in March 2018 and sold out in 6 days. The second Physician Wellness and Financial Literacy Conference (WCICON20) was held in Las Vegas March 11-14th, 2020 and sold out in 18 hours. They were wonderful opportunities to learn actionable steps to improve your life, be inspired, and make life-long connections with doctors of every specialty. 99% of attendees would recommend the conference to a colleague.
WCICON18 includes 13 hours of video for just $299, and comes with a one-week, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee so long as you have watched less than 25% of the course. It features speakers including William Bernstein, Jonathan Clements, Mike Piper and many of your favorite bloggers and podcasters in the physician financial space.
Any chance that there will be a streaming version available before the end of the year? I have CME money to use before the end of the year but couldn’t make it to the conference. The CME money must be used on things that you actually earn CME on. If the lectures end up being streamed for a cost, will they still earn CME?
I wouldn’t count on it. It is unlikely that they will be streamed or that the stream will earn CME. It is surprisingly expensive to offer CME in that format and wouldn’t make business sense in this case.
Which of the sessions qualify for CME? I just see 8hr out of 12hrs and need to provide the names of the specific sessions to be able to use my CME money.
Wow, that’s a really specific request.

Unfortunately, did not get the time off. What is the process for cancellation/refund? Looking forward t o the next opportunity.
I’m sure you’re going to make another hopeful attendee very happy. That is, unless you want to try scalping your ticket. All in the spirit of good ole capitalism, of course. 🙂
Scalping not permitted. Please don’t make us require ID at check-in. It’ll slow down the process and people want to get to their food, drinks, and good company.
Email Cindy (at) whitecoatinvestor.com for details. I think you can still get some money back if you cancel within the next 20 days.
Sorry, bad joke.
Now you’ve gone and done it — trying to learn some of the basics of skiing before your conference
http://www.roguedadmd.com/2018/01/learning-to-fly-but-aint-got-wings/
There’s still hope. It’s like swimming- you get thrown into the deep end and you either die or you learn to swim. So when you get to Park City, just find the tallest chairlift, ride it to the top, and see if you can make it to the bottom of the mountain without dying. If you do, you’re a skier!
Looks like a great conference! Will this be offered again next year (2019)?
Let’s wait and see the feedback on # 1 to see if there will be a # 2 at all, much less in 2019.
Will you be selling recorded session for those who cannot make it? Thanks so much
A definite maybe. How much would you be willing to pay for something like that?
This definitely needs to be made available as an online course! Would love to have some diversity in my CMEs!
We’re getting there, but unfortunately the online version won’t be eligible for CME.

[If you’d like to advertise your own conference on my blog, please contact our advertising manager cindy (at) whitecoatinvestor.com]
I registered for the conference the very first day and very excited to attend and meet my fellow white coat investors.
But I haven’t received any follow up emails since registering (also checked my spam folder but nothing there).
Also I am not receiving any WCI subscription emails either. Are any other folks having same issue?
I tried 2 different email addresses.
I don’t see you on the conference email list. I’ll have Katie check your registration info. The good news is there are a couple of spots left right now so even if you aren’t signed up, we can sign you up again.
Saw your update about Corona Virus. Did you see today’s news about several cases linked to a conference in Boston?

Thanks for sharing.
I am heading to Las Vegas on Wednesday. I was wondering if any dentist or dental specialist are going to the conference? I am a orthodontist who owns his own practice. Would be nice to network and maybe grab lunch or dinner.
