A little uncomfortable with the contract line about malpractice—

“The fee basis provider may be defended by the United States against allegations or malpractice or negligence arising from the exercise of your duty (38 U.S.C. 7316).  The Federal Employee’s Compensation Act (5 U.S.C. Chapter 85) also covers the fee base practitioner”

Basically want to make sure I am appropriately covered against malpractice claims.  I would prefer the word “may”, to be switched to– “will”.

Does anyone have experience with fee-based model with the VA system?

WCI— any recommendation for a specific lawyer who would be recommended with experience in physician contract review, especially with experience with the VA system?
