I did my backdoor Roth conversion three days after I deposited the check into tIra. However, it had a $2.17 earning. Does it make sense to clear it with next year’s conversion or should I just convert it now?

You’re 100% going to get audited now. Ok, not really. It’s not a big deal. Convert it all.

Set aside some money to pay taxes on that $2.17 🙂
