If you reach premier status on United, you don’t pay bag fees and get 70lbs each bag without having to use the credit card. We did use a couple of the club passes that come with the card, but they’re not worth the $59 value that they claim.
And because of this, and looking closely at the fine print cuz all I saw at first was a free checked bag, I am packing my weeklong assignment clothing in my carryon. They will not get another dime from.
Jerks. Will use up my 60k free points and lounge access and promptly close the card at 11 months in. Then moving to Dallas.

They initially refused to give me a card 4 months ago while Delta had no problems.
    Jerks.

If you spend $2,500/month or more, the Alliant Visa Cashback card will earn you more cashback than 2% cashback cards even after the $99 annual fee.
